After the gym this evening we decided to meet up with some friends for dinner. After we were done eating I noticed Luke's pants were damp. We came home and I cleaned him up for the night, but was quite frustrated.
I asked Luke, "What is it going to take to get you to remember to stop and use the potty before it's too late?"
He replied, "I don't know."
So I said, "What if I buy you something? How about that?" Thinking he'd really go for that idea and ask for candy or a small toy, etc.
You know what my 4 year old boy said he wanted?
An ipod!
LOL! I hate to see what he'll want for good grades!
ReplyDeleteHe doesn't get an ipod until I get an ipod.
ReplyDeleteSo essentially, I hope you don't mind your son pissing his pants for eternity.
By the way, I once didn't want to get a school picture taken and my parents pursuaded me by offering to go to Chuck E Cheese. It worked. You might want to start 'small' with that.
Lynette, after three potty trained boys, I have learned that for some, it is just a season that mom's have to endure. I used to get so worked up about it, but now I just realize that it too will pass.
ReplyDeleteHang in there.
I am in the favor of this post. Its very impressive. Its 110% quite sure that tile changes...
