"My Mom"

Today I decided to participate in a "meme" that I saw on Facebook.  I have chosen to ask each of my boys the following questions about me and write down their exact responses.  I interviewed them each separately so they wouldn't copy each others answers even though a few of them had the same responses.  This ought to be good.  If you decide to play along, leave me a comment and let me know.

Luke is 3 

Carson is 6

1. What is something mom always says to you?

Luke - "I love you."

Carson - "I love you."

Taylor - "Stop it!"

2. What makes mom happy?

Luke - When I say "I love you."

Carson - When I dry the table and do good stuff.

Taylor - wine (smart kid)

3. What makes mom sad?

Luke - When I say "I hate you."

Carson - When I say "Shut up."

Taylor - When the Biggest Loser is over.

4. How does your mom make you laugh?

Luke - When you wear your sunglasses (Say what?)

Carson - Telling funny jokes

Taylor - By tickling me

5. What was your mom like as a child?

Luke - played toys

Carson - you didn't look like my mom anymore (Maybe a smaller version)

Taylor - sporty

6. How old is your mom?

Luke - eleven (not possible)

Carson - twenty-four (I love you - you can have cookies for dinner)

Taylor - 30 (oh so close)

7. How tall is your mom?

Luke - big (you're grounded)

Carson - about 30 feet long

Taylor - 5 ft. 4 in. 

8. What is her favorite thing to do?

Luke - read stories to me

Carson - play bunco

Taylor - workout, drink wine, play bunco

9. What does your mom do when you're not around?

Luke - driving

Carson - usually clean the house

Taylor - works out and blogs

10. If your mom becomes famous, what will it be for?

Luke - being the oldest (nice Luke, way to make me feel good.)

Carson - cause you might look good (I hate to play favorites, but so far he's in the running)

Taylor - a fitness person

11. What is your mom really good at?

Luke - working out

Carson - making dinner

Taylor - gymnastics

12. What is your mom not very good at?

Luke - making hot dogs (Huh? What did Carson just say in #11?)

Carson - beating me at the matching game

Taylor - pitching in baseball

13. What does your mom do for her job?

Luke - go on the computer and work (now if I only got paid for it!)

Carson - nothing

Taylor - watches me, Carson and Luke

14. What is your mom's favorite food?

Luke - chicken

Carson - capers (which he pronounced vipers)

Taylor - enchiladas

15. What makes you proud of your mom?

Luke - eating all my dinner

Carson - for giving me ice cream

Taylor - this is going to take awhile . . . . everything! (looks like we've got another contestant in the running for favorites!)

16. If your mom were a cartoon character, who would she be?

Luke - American Idol, but I'd miss you

Carson - a cowgirl

Taylor - Sandy the squirrel because she's from Texas (I've never even been to Texas)

17. What do you and your mom do together?

Luke - hugs (and he proceeded to give me a big one!)

Carson - wait for my bus

Taylor - go see dogs

18. How are you and your mom the same?

Luke - we live far away from our friends (what an impressive answer for a 3 year old!)

Carson - we both live in the same house

Taylor - we're in the same family

19. How are you and your mom different?

Luke - I'm 3 and you're 11 (at least he's consistent)

Carson - she's a girl and I'm a boy

Taylor - she's a girl

20. How do you know your mom loves you?

Luke - cause

Carson - because your special to me

Taylor - because she takes care of me

21. Where is your mom's favorite place to go?

Luke - to work out at the gym

Carson - Kohl's

Taylor - the gym
