There is just a little snow here, not much. We've only had to shovel 5 times in the last 3 days. Now it feels like winter. And I am already over it and am ready for spring.
Do you know how hard it is to find a pair of boys winter boots this time of year? It's stupid. Instead the stores have a ton of flip flops and crocs. That's not going to help much unless you live in Hawaii. I mean seriously, come on.
I am a little afraid to take my oldest son to buy a snow sled to replace the one that just broke. I have a feeling when we get there we may have to improvise and buy a wheelbarrow and convert it into a sled.
Is it just me or do you feel like the stores jump the gun on bringing out the next season's stuff way too early and do not have enough stock on hand for the current season?
I'm irritated.

I hate that. I found 2 pairs of boots on Friday by miracle for my girls but like you said they already have flip flops out thre in the stores. Short sleeves and shorts are they crazy. I'm ready for spring and summer but we can't push ourselves to buy for it yet. I want to see sweaters cause I need to buy some more. lol
ReplyDeleteI agree, it is crazy. This past weekend myself, the kids, and my husband headed out to buy the kids new snow friendly hats and gloves. We were gone for 6 hours looking for 2 pairs of glove and 2 two hats. I can't even begin to guess how many stores we went in. Almost every store was putting out little cute bathing suits and summer outfits. Unbelievable. It made a very long and unpleasant day for everyone. Yes, we came home with 4 items, all from a different store. I guess next year I will have to cut my beach time down and go snow shopping in August.
